The Old West comes alive in the new comix anthology “Dead Man’s Hand!”

White River Junction, VT, 9/25/2007 — This year at SPX; talented cartoonists and comic book artists collaborate to bring you a collection of Wild West tales! Tree Fort Press proudly presents Dead Man’s Hand, a collection of Old West comics. Stories range from humorous takes on the cowboy clichés to gritty dramas that tackle the pitfalls of frontier life. The contributors are cartoonists from all over the Northeast, and include such luminaries as the legendary S. R. Bissette (Swamp Thing, Tyrant) and acclaimed web cartoonist Cayetano Garza (Magic Inkwell). Dead Man’s Hand debuts at this year’s Small Press Expo.
